Apply for kindergarten
How to apply for kindergarten, and what to do if your child do not have a norwegian id-number.
Ås municipality has introduced a new system for enrollment and administration of children in kindergarten and SFO.
If you want to apply for a new place, change the type of place, or terminate your child’s place in kindergarten or SFO you will need to do this electronically through “Oppvekstportalen”.

If children or the parents do not have Norwegian identity number (11 digits), you must send an email to Ås municipality about this. You will then be given a temporary number. The temporary identity number is used to apply for a place in kindergarten.
Email your name, date of birth and address of the relevant children and / or guardians without identity number, to post@as.kommune.no . In the subject line of the email, type "Kindergarten Application".
